SOME CHICK WITH A WHOLE LOTTA MONEY BUILT A $175K REPLICA OF CARRIE BRADSHAW'S CLOSET

The wife of a retired Long Island business man commissioned a replica of Carrie Bradshaw's walk-in closet from the hit show Sex In The City. The 400 sq. ft. guest bedroom was converted by SATC set designer Lydia Marks. It cost $175,000 dollars. Her direct quote "And it was worth every penny...they made my dream come true!"

Here are the closet specs:

• storage for 400 shoes (“The shoe cabinet is very similar to Carrie’s, although our client’s is much bigger.”)
• hand-beveled mirror strips (“They add a bit of glitz into the glossy white closet, while maintaining the charm of a Park Avenue penthouse.”)
• frosted glass doors with etched Art Deco patterning
• custom-sized compartments “to accommodate specific hair dryers, curling irons and flat irons”


The closet was a gift from her husband who of course is getting a matching one built for himself.

Ummmm...yeah....calling Mr. Big!
