This clip of the divine Coco Chanel claims to be the first television interview with her in her office. (Understanding French will probably make this more interesting, but still.) This footage was taken following a presentation of the 1959 collection by Chanel's celebrity model, Marie-Helen Arnaud, among others. "It's already outdated," she sighs. "It's been a week."
