WEST WAY TO OPEN AT FORMER STRIP CLUB

This spot use to be the West Side's Gentleman's Club. Never heard of it? Well, that's probably because you weren't a seedy dude rolling over the West Side Highway to spend your hard earned cash on lap dances.
The operators of the new spot kept the seedy vibe but got rid of the unseemly crowds-now you'll find a mix of young hipsters who enjoy the go-go girls and boys "ironically" (those hipster mustaches sure do fit in here). The stripper poles were left intact and there's a colorful floor that lights up...

but the music and booze-loving crowds create a vibe that's more Don Hill's than Showgirls. Also, while the Gentleman's Club that used to call this place home would take any paying customer, yet can expect a tougher door at the new incarnation. It's run by the folks behind The Jane Ballroom, a notoriously hard to get into haunt a few blocks up the West Side Highway.
