BENTLEY MULSANNE
As the International Automobile Exhibition (IAA) kick started in Frankfurt, Bentley Motors is showcasing a new multimedia connectivity concept designed for executives inside their luxurious, hand-crafted cabin of the company’s Mulsanne flagship at this year’s Frankfurt Show (Stand A09, Hall 3). The posh Mulsanne Executive Interior Concept offers an array of bespoke business, comfort and entertainment features, each designed to conduct business on the move or just unwind between meetings. The features have all been integrated into the comfortable cabin which took Bentley’s craftsmen and women over 170 hours to create. Mulsanne rear passengers will each have individual Apple iPad workstations with full internet access (integrated into retractable picnic tables) whilst a large, drop-down LED screen ensures that a wide selection of movies as well as television can also be enjoyed. With fine attention to detail, Bentley has discreetly stowed in the centre armrest a Tibaldi fountain pen from their specially commissioned Collection which is designed to mirror the Mulsanne’s knurled-metal rotary switchgear and for the first time, a Yachting-style veneer, which blends light and dark contrasting tones, features throughout the cabin.

Other entertainment and business features include: twin iPads that gives access the Apple Media Centre to play video files and music or provide access to personal and work e-mail as well as the internet (via W-Lan), an Apple Mini Mac stored in boot compartment enables integration of iPad with Bluetooth keyboard and iPod acts as control panel in rear console and a roof console with 15.6 inch HD LED dropdown monitor that plays videos (from both DVD changer and Mac Mini) and allows you to watch television.
While comfort has not been compromised, the Mulsanne interior also boasts of ample control and stowage features. An illuminated rear centre console fitted with twin, individual armrests offers true, spacious 4-seat configuration.
There is the Apple iPod controls – Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE), bespoke control keys on rear console that operate picnic tables, reading lights, control HD LED screen and select video and audio options, bespoke bottle cooler in rear centre console with illuminated double-glazed frosted glass door, additional multi-directional reading lights for each rear passenger and mood lighting in the rear centre console to ensure the stowage areas are lit and the docking station and cup holders are illuminated.
